ALEX CLINTON
Myofunctional Therapist and Breathing Optimization Coach
Alex is a Registered Dental Hygienist, Myofunctional Therapist (AOMT), Breathing Optimization Coach (Patrick McKeown), certification as a Biological Dental Hygienist (IAOMT), Lactation Educator (CAPPA), and always has a few courses on the go at once, just ask! After practicing in British Columbia for 10 years, Alex decided to return to Ontario to continue studying and building her practice. Alex came to the realization early on in her career that many patients were feeling discouraged with standard recommendations and wanted to know how their oral health might be impacting their overall health. Alex proceeded to train with some of the best airway and myofunctional therapists on the planet and was able to bring these perspectives to her practice. This gave her the tools she needed to help patients of all ages understand how these factors impact growth and development of the oral facial complex, including their impact on early feeding practices (breast feeding), speech, airway development, dysfunctional breathing, orthodontic development, TMD, and sleep issues.
