OSTEOPATHIC TREATMENT
Osteopathic Treatment is a form of manual therapy that operates based on the principle that structure and function are interrelated. The body's natural ability to self heal and self regulate is directly related to the structural integrity of the body's anatomy. Our Osteopathic Practitioners consider all levels of tissue in your body during your assessment and treatment. While coordinating the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments), the circulatory system is liberated which enables drainage and supply of blood through out the body. Once proper motion is restored within the body, function of the physiological systems and structures including the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics is enabled. Osteopathic Treatment is tailored to each individual patient based on a structural assessment of the body. Treatment is quite gentle and relaxing in order to appeal to the body's nervous system which in turn provides a better response to treatment.

Registered Massage Therapy is a form of hands-on therapy that focuses on the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues and joints of the body. Our Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) assess each individual to better understand areas of pain, tension, restricted movement, and physical dysfunction. Treatment may incorporate a variety of hands-on techniques to address muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues, with the approach adapted to each patient’s needs and goals. Massage Therapy can help relieve pain and muscle tension, improve mobility, and support the rehabilitation and maintenance of physical function. Each treatment is individualized based on the findings of the assessment and the patient’s health history, with the goal of providing effective, comfortable, and clinically appropriate care.
