OSTEOPATHIC TREATMENT

Osteopathic Treatment is a form of manual therapy that operates based on the principle that structure and function are interrelated. The body's natural ability to self heal and self regulate is directly related to the structural integrity of the body's anatomy. Our Osteopathic Practitioner, Kaelah, considers all levels of tissue in your body during your assessment and treatment. While coordinating the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments), the circulatory system is liberated which enables drainage and supply of blood through out the body. Once proper motion is restored within the body, function of the physiological systems and structures including the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics is enabled. Osteopathic Treatment is tailored to each individual patient based on a structural assessment of the body. Treatment is quite gentle and relaxing in order to appeal to the body's nervous system which in turn provides a better response to treatment.
